Envisioning Excellence: Utility Imagery & Inspection Operations for the 21st Century
The Utility Imagery & Inspection Consortium (UIIC) will be holding its inaugural summit this April in Phoenix, Arizona. The UIIC Summit for Envisioning Excellence: Utility Imagery & Inspection Operations for the 21st Century will be held April 6-7, 2022, at the Westin Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.
The event will kick off with Keynote Speaker, Jordan Evans. As an Aerospace Engineer, Jordan Evans has successfully faced the challenges of the design, development, and leadership of complex space systems that range from UV telescopes to gravitational wave detectors and from Hubble Space Telescope instruments to the Curiosity Rover on Mars. For his work on the Mars Science Lab Curiosity Project, Evans received the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal, one of our nation’s highest civilian honors. Evans brings a healthy mix of technical experience, leadership skills, and humor to otherwise uncomfortable situations and has received numerous awards for his leadership and ability to balance risk effectively.
Thought leaders from the emerging Utility Imagery & Inspection (I&I) space will gather for the 2-day Summit in Phoenix, AZ. Day one of the conference will feature workshops from the corresponding Centers of Excellence that will enable participants to walk away with actionable next steps in the deployment of their utility I&I program. Day two will be filled with a speaker lineup made up of leaders in the I&I space throughout the world that will share best practices, collaborate on identifying key challenges, and focus on how to drive business value with their I&I programs.
Utilities can expect to come away with actionable insights that will benefit key areas such as reliability, safety, compliance, and financial performance. This Summit will benefit utility leaders and professionals responsible for the maintenance & management of infrastructure and improving business processes and analytic development for the benefit of infrastructure.
Highlights from the Summit include participating utilities from the U.S. Canada, and Australia including Ameren (Partner Utility), AusNet Services, Avista, Endeavour Energy, Entergy, Essential Energy, Evergy, Louisville Water, Nova Scotia Power, Oncor Electric, Salt River Project, San Diego Gas & Electric, TECO Energy, and Xcel Energy. They will be bringing their thought leaders to engage, learn, and share.

The Utility Imagery and Inspection Consortium (UIIC) is a TMG Research membership-based organization offered for utilities and solution providers to share best practices and collaborate on improving business process and analytic development for the benefit of utility leaders and professionals responsible for the maintenance and management of infrastructure.
