President Donald Trump and his appointees continue to reshape federal policies, regulations and funding priorities — with many of the changes impacting cities, counties and other local governmental bodies. In his first 50 days in office, the president directed federal agencies and other bodies to freeze $3.6 billion in federal grants and loans for addressing homelessness and domestic violence, reduced support of clean energy and electric vehicle programs and issued numerous executive orders to help enact his agenda.
